Universal Precautions

Consider the following safety guidelines:

  1.   1º Wear a N95 mask within the office suit. A surgical medical mask (typically blue) cannot be substituted within the office suite. A gaiter, bandanna, or a synthetic or natural fiber covering shall not be a substitute. A N95 medical respirator will provided to you if you do not have one at the time of an office visit.

  2.   2º Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. There are four available lavatories.

  3.   3º Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer—if soap and water are unavailable.

•   4º Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth without first washing your hands.

  1.   5º Practice hand hygiene and cough etiquette for safety

  2.   6º Greet others responsibly (i.e., elbows, arms, or just bow to one another, so to speak).

Consider the following:

The concern regarding the spread of COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) virus and its variants increased to a federal national emergency two years ago.  The building ventilation and filtration were upgraded for fresh air exchange 6 to 8 times per hour—that is according to the medical standard. This action increased patient health and safety, and for those who provide care within this building. Hospital-grade cleaning, infection control, air exchange, lighting, help to promote positive experience.

For added safety, hand sanitizer dispensers have been added to the north and south side lobby entrances of this building. The janitorial contractors, who routinely use the highest grade of disinfectants, will perform additional sanitization nightly in the building common areas as well as tenant spaces. This office space will maintain special attention to touch points (e.g., door handles, and knobs) and orthogonal (i.e., horizontal and vertical) surfaces.
